Meet Your Instructor,
Gina Worful, MS, RD
Gina Worful is founder of the Mastering Mindfulness Institute. She loves bringing her mindfulness methodologies to the Gutsy Academy to support our students in deepening their relationship to food.
While she’s a classically trained registered dietitian, her work is far from conventional.
Gina’s frustration with the diet industry’s notoriously poor success rate drove her to dive deeper into human behavior to understand why we sometimes resist or sabotage diets.
This led her to developing science based methodologies that help people get off of dieting rollercoasters and build self trust with their food.
Her methods have been featured at global conferences, world renowned health centers, and academic universities.Â
These methods have been published in academic textbooks that are being used by nutrition students at Eastern Michigan University.
Gina loves science and nutrition but also believes that there's nothing more important to health than the relationship we have with our own bodies.Â
And the exploration of that, is fun!
